After spending time in France you tend to fall in love with the culture, the land and the people. That is why I started this blog. My 2 1/2 weeks was just not enough. After the terrorist attacks in Paris, France on Friday the retaliation begins. More bombings and more death. Innocents lives will be killed. This is so becoming the norm of our times. An eye for an eye. The root of all these actions is "evil" I understand that. I remember trying to think of ways we could stop the terrorism in the Middle East. I thought if you can get to the root of the problem, which at the time I thought was our religious differences, maybe just maybe we could resolve our issues. But this is much more than religion. It is "cowardly" and that is the only word that fits.
