I Found My Photos of France Yeah.

I took these photos a few years ago. We just happened to be there for the D-Day Anniversary. Just an amazing small farming town is what Normandy France was. But back on that infamous day in June 6, 1944 a day that will go down in history as one of the bloodiest battles to ever by fought in World War 2. The Americans and Frances allies fought with all of their might to crush the German Nazis once and for all.

Normandy France a quiet farming town once again.

Along the coast line of Utah and Omaha Beaches

Barbered wire still remains where the German bunkers once were.

Once a German bunker.

The Virgin Mary overlooking the cemetery.
In front of the rotunda.

Just about 10,000 American soldiers buried here.

I saw this solider and he looked a little lost.
Every grave is alphabetized

Allied soldiers just happened to be at Mount St. Michel for the D-Day ceremonies when I was there.
