One of the most interesting parts of Paris is the Pere Lachaise Cemetery. There are many famous people buried here. Below are just a few. The only requirement to be buried here is, if you ever lived in Paris, or died in Paris. It was fascinating.

Jim Morrison's fans gather at his grave-site to remember him.
He was the lead singer for the rock band The Doors before he went solo and moved to Paris, France where he dead in his bathtub.

Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Tokias both Americans and lovers for many years. Both were authors and lived a avaunt- garde life in Paris. Both would be buried side by side in the end.
